The ranger was very helpful and knowledgeable. Lots of history and beauty here.

A beautiful walk though the woods of rural Massachusetts. The paths are dripping with history and are marked intermittently with taverns, farms, and homes older than the country itself. Along the path there are a number of interpretive signs to explore the significance of each foot of this ground, so hallowed in the American way of life. This park is a must see for every American to see where the iron of our republic was first fired tone hammered and wrought in independence hall.

The minute man trail is open but there is a new ranger center so go to that one. Keep an eye out for what is either honey been nests or wasps nests. See photos for greater detail.
